Dave Matthews Band will open the NFL season by performing at the Superdome in New Orleans on September 9, 2010. This event is part the hour-long pre-game event which leads up to the NFL season opener between the reigning Superbowl Champion Saints and the Minnesota Vikings. The DMB performance is part of “NFL Opening Kickoff 2010 Presented by EA Sports” which will be televised live at 7:30 pm ET from New Orleans’ Jackson Square. Dave Matthews Band will be performing at the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards taking place January 31st on CBS from 8-11:30 pm (Eastern Time). DMB is nominated for two Grammy awards this year: Best Rock Album and Album of the Year. Other acts scheduled to perform include Beyoncé, the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Antebellum, Maxwell, and Taylor Swift. Thank G-d for TIVO and DVR!
