A pleasant surprise came through my e-mail box today when a Danish reporter forwarded video clips of his interview with Dave Matthews, filmed this past Sunday (March 14, 2010). Dave speaks on interesting topics spanning from the Band’s music, to President Barrack Obama.
Dave openly spoke about potentially making another album with Steve Lillywhite, while giving his take on how Steve Lillywhite would fare as Simon Cowell’s American Idol replacement. Enjoy the interview!

Dave Matthews Band will be performing at the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards taking place January 31st on CBS from 8-11:30 pm (Eastern Time). DMB is nominated for two Grammy awards this year: Best Rock Album and Album of the Year. Other acts scheduled to perform include Beyoncé, the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Antebellum, Maxwell, and Taylor Swift. Thank G-d for TIVO and DVR!

A “best of” list from Dave Matthews Band would not be complete without humor. Here we clipped together two minutes of our favorite moments and charades from The Road to Big Whiskey. This documentary shined a new light on how seriously the band takes the recording process! Road to Big Whiskey is one of the best productions (on any medium) by the band and Red Light Management.
