Arguably, Carter Beauford is the best drummer alive. Carter celebrated his 54th Birthday on November 2nd, which is really like 24 in Drummer years. Enjoy the following video of one of Carter’s amazingly improvisational performances.
Before seeing this video I had never seen Carter Beauford playing guitar (or any other non-percussion instrument). Here we see the master working on Why I Am with “Big Whiskey” producer Rob Cavallo.
