The artist lineup, ticket info and all else for the the first Dave Matthews Band Caravan festival in Atlantic City (Bader Field), is now official. Dave Matthews Band Atlantic City Caravan at Bader Field has a maximum capacity of 75,000 people (per day) which makes the $195 three-day general admission fesival pass work to the masses. Atlantic City officials held a press conference last week and took questions from the media.
Tickets are now available via the Warehouse. Non-warehouse members can purchase tickets on March 25, 2011 via the official DMB Caravan website.
The lineup for Dave Matthews Band 2011 Caravan Atlantic City includes Dave Matthews Band headlining on the main stage, all three nights. Plus, an acoustic set from Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, a special performance from Carter Beauford, a special performance from Stefan Lessard. Here come the first Dave Matthews Band Caravan tour dates for 2011. Wildhorse Campground (near the Gorge) is already selling both Car and RV reservations for September 1-5 of 2011. Without an official announcement from the Band, this is still a rumored set of dates… However it should be safe to assume that Dave Matthews Band will play the Gorge during Labor Day Weekend in 2011. The dates for the Gorge would likely be September 2, 3, and 4th – with Monday, September 5th being Labor Day. With a healthy count of the Dave Matthews Band fan community traveling to the Band’s pre-hiatus last stop in Charlottesville, VA this weekend, the timing seems right to post a video collage of the legendary band’s early performances. No tapes exist from Miller’s (the band’s founding spot, pictured above. Instead, please enjoy these quality videos from former tour venues, including: Trax in Charlottesville and Richmond’s Floodzone. Note: Both Trax and Floodzone venues are out of operation – If you’re looking to do some sightseeing in Virginia this weekend, stop by Dave’s Blenheim Vineyards for some wine tasting.
