Dave Matthews Band will be performing at the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards taking place January 31st on CBS from 8-11:30 pm (Eastern Time). DMB is nominated for two Grammy awards this year: Best Rock Album and Album of the Year. Other acts scheduled to perform include Beyoncé, the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Antebellum, Maxwell, and Taylor Swift. Thank G-d for TIVO and DVR!

This documentary shined a new light on how seriously the band takes the recording process! Road to Big Whiskey is one of the best productions (on any medium) by the band and Red Light Management. If you’re reading this blog, you likely have already witnessed some type of video from SNL where Dave Matthews acted as Ozzy Osbourne . The Ozzy Sketch was broadcast on Saturday Night Live last night. Dave Matthews Band performed “You and Me” plus “Shake Me Like a Monkey,” though Dave’s appearance in the SNL sketch received more acclaim than the band’s musical performance, which was one of the highlights of the entire show.
