
Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds finished a three-night stand in Las Vegas less than one week ago, and already a CD (or CD set) has popped up on Amazon for pre-order. The three Dave and Tim Vegas shows were the only full-length concerts played by the symphonic-sounding acoustic duo in 2009. If you’re reading this blog, you likely have already witnessed some type of video from SNL where Dave Matthews acted as Ozzy Osbourne . The Ozzy Sketch was broadcast on Saturday Night Live last night. Dave Matthews Band performed “You and Me” plus “Shake Me Like a Monkey,” though Dave’s appearance in the SNL sketch received more acclaim than the band’s musical performance, which was one of the highlights of the entire show. Tonight Dave Matthews played Ozzy Osbourne in a Saturday Night Live sketch. Those who not familiar with Dave seemed to have no idea that Dave was playing Ozzy. DM did such a good job acting that he fit in the sketch as a true SNL comic! As one who was in the audience, I am proud to tell this story first-hand.
