Three years ago (August 19, 2008) Leroi Moore unexpectedly passed away in Los Angeles (due to complications from injuries suffered during an ATV accident earlier that Summer). Among other things, LeRoi Holloway Moore was a founding member and the horn player of Dave Matthews Band. ‘Roi’s spirit and legacy lives on through his music. A few years back, Dave Matthews, Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer band covered Neil Young’s Heart of Gold at the concert for Katrina at Madison Square Garden. Great video and awesome song. This is must see for those who may have missed it.
